From Lancaster: head south out of the city on the A6, follow signs for University
From the M6: take Junction 33 towards Lancaster (A6), follow signs for University
Once on campus: at the top of the driveway take the first left at the roundabout on to North West Drive. There is plenty of parking on the perimeter road. On foot, follow the pathways and signs to the Great Hall complex, or continue on the perimeter road, turning right just after the pedestrian crossing onto the temporary road (before the new accommodation buildings) for visitor parking, including wheelchair accessible spaces.

Sorry about the building work taking place around the area - parking is difficult during the day but you can park for free after 6pm. The building work should be completed by October 2008.

By Bus
Buses run every 10-15 minutes from Lancaster City Centre to the central underpass on campus. There are also frequent services from Morecambe, Blackpool and Preston.

By Train
Lancaster is on the North West Coast line and is a main stop for services running between London and Scotland. There are also regular connections from Preston, Manchester and Liverpool.

By Bicycle
There is a well-signed and maintained scenic cycle-path running from the city centre. The route takes about 25 minutes.
