Box Office opening times are Mon - Fri, 12-4pm, and until 7pm on the evenings of performances. See map for location. An answerphone operates outside these times - please leave your name and daytime telephone number and we will ring you back as soon as we can.
Tickets are on sale on the door from 1 hour before the performance begins (subject to availability).
Seating
Seating is not allocated, so you can sit where you like. If you want to be at the end of a row or at the front, let us know when you book and we will reserve you a seat.
Ticket Prices and Concessions
Concessions are available in the following cases:-
Children under 18
Those in full-time education
Registered unemployed
Those entitled to Income Support, Working Families Tax Credit, Housing Benefit
Those receiving Incapacity Benefit or Severe Disablement Allowance
Those whose sole or main source of income is a DSS state retirement pension
Those holding a Lancaster Artscard
Proof of status may be required when booking Concession price tickets.
Patrons with disabilities (and their escort) are entitled to two tickets for the price of one.
Disabled Access
The Nuffield Theatre is accessible to wheelchair users and people with mobility problems.
Wheelchair accessible toilets are situated in the foyer.
There are disabled parking spaces close to the theatre (see map) with ramp access to the main entrance.
Our brochure is available in large-print format, call the box office for a copy.
Please let our Box Office know when booking tickets if you have any special requirements.
Group Booking
Group bookings are entitled to one ticket free for every 10 tickets booked.
Schools
Special ticket deals are available for school parties together with free places for supervisory staff. For more information contact the Box Office on 01524 594151 or go to the Schools section
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds will not normally be made unless a performance has been cancelled. Tickets can be exchanged up to 3 working days before a performance (subject to availability).
Latecomers
If you arrive late you will be asked to wait until there is a suitable break in the show before we can let you into the theatre. The theatre reserves the right to refuse admission after a show has commenced.
